GENERAL
- All CP:s must be taken in order accoding to the ROADBOOK.
- GPS or similar equipment are forbidden.
- The organization will transport the teams equipment during the race. Detalied logistic instructions will be sent to the teams 2 weeks prior the race.
- It’s not allowed to leave any equipment, trash or waist on the track. This leads to a 30 minutes penalty.
- The obligatory equipment shall be able to be showed at any time for the organization. For every missed equipment detail you will get 30 min penalty.
- All penalties will be taken at the next TA.
- Always wear the bib vest (race suit) on top (even outside the life jacket) and please wear similar clothes.
TEAM EQUIPMENT (mandatory from start to finish)
- First aid kit (including Blood stopper bandage, sports binder and 6 painkillers)
- Compass
- Cell phone, water proofed. Only to be used in emergency situations .
- Roadbook (given by the organization)
- Maps (given by the organization)
- Whistle
- Waterproof map case.
TEAM EQUIPMENT (on special sections)
- Spare tube, min. 2/team
- Bike tool
- Pump
PESONAL EQUIPMENT (mandatory from start to finish)
- Water bottle, Camelback or similar (min. 1 liter)
- Cap/Buff
- Gloves, long fingers
- Tights or similar, long legs
- Fleece or similar, long arms
- Waterproof jacket
- Waterproof pants
- Backpack (min 30 liters recommended)
- Head torch (functioning)
- Number vest
- Bike helmet (to be used during biking, inlines and rope sections)
- Water proof bag (or water prof back pack)
PERSONAL EQUIPMENT (on special sections)
- Life jacket
- Mountain bike, with front and rear light (the front light should be mounted directly on the bike, only headlamp is not allowed).
- Inline skates
- Canoe and paddle (org will supply teams with candian canoe paddel, but team can shoose to bring any type of paddels temselves including kayak paddels)
- Bike helmet (to be used during all biking and inline sections)
- 1 harness, 3 carbines (auto-lock or screw are mandatory), 2×60 cm sling, 60 cm prusik & 1 figure-8. (Light requires only 1 climbing set / team (same as described here))
- It’s optional to bring 2 set/ team for ascending. Organization provides equipment for ascending, but first come first served…
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT (given by the organization)
- Road book (for competitors on track) to bring at all times.
- Road book for assistants (light class only)
- Phone list (in the road book)
- Maps
- Maps for assistance (light class only)
- Bib-vest to be worn at all times, even on top of the life jacket.
- Number plate on the bike bar.
- Canadian canoe, life jacket, canoe cart and paddles (you can use your own life jackets and paddles, includig kayak paddels).
MANDATORY TEAM EQUIPMENT (for logistic support)
1 Bag for inlines (big enough to contain 4 inlines and 4 helmets)
1 Ski bag or simiar for team paddels
1 Bag/box for:
– Tent for 4 persons
– 4 Sleeping mattress
– 4 Sleeping bags
– Gas stove and food
2 Bag/boxes for organization to transport of team equipment (briefed in news letter, 2 weeks before the competition).
Boxes for MTB are not necessary!
